2 Peter 1:1-11

Everyone has a place called home. You may have moved once or twice in the past and you will surely move a couple of more times in the future. We can also consider heaven our future home. Once our lives are done here on earth, we can go to our new anticipated home we call Heaven. But do you know for sure that you are a shoe in to enter your future new home? Theres a process in getting a new home, correct? You have to find the right place, make sure that the neighborhood is right and safe for your family, and that you have  enough moneey or have a steady income to suppory all the bills. Like getting a house and moving into a house, we must prepare ourselves moving into our home which is Heaven. We have to or at least try live a Godly life. Make an effort to improve yourselve spiritually(found in verses 5-7)

Reflect on your life…What qualities of godliness is God developing within you?

As for me I’ve realized that God gave me a self-control mind set. Even though I may falter sometimes, I know I must learn from it and ask for forgiveness.

In verse 3, Think of the balance between knowledge of Jesus and holy living that you have seen in Christians. What happens if one or the other is weak?

Obviously that if one other is weaker then you will surely falter. Because if you don’t have self-control then you will give in to everything

Select one of the Christian qualities mentiond in verses 5-7 that you would like to become stronger in your life. If you practice this quality more faithfully, how would it help you escape the pollution of evil influences around you?

As for me i would like to work on the knowledge aspect. Honestly i don’t have alot of head knowledge of the Bible. If i could have more knowledge, then my foundatins would be stronger.

Pray for the changes you think God is calling for within you.
